Matt,
Hello there.
You mentioned that Investec submitted a Quest. Am just wondering whether his Quest required any new Actions being put into the one XML document. If so, could you let me know the list numbers (only) of the new actions (I don't want to see the actual text of the Actions, for that would provide me with too much info).
I plan on adding some new Actions myself, so want to start the numbering of my own new Actions accordingly in my Actions template.
As for the request, am wondering if you might eventually add an extra "Are You Sure You Want to Quit" dialog box into QuestLight.exe. I'd hate to lose all my work due to a slip of the ol' mouse without having saved my data first...
Many Thanks,
- Bill - |

No worries, Matt Man! I'm just trying to gear up for some Quest-making, and get my toolkit in due order, as it were. *But* more importantly, I do not want to impose more work on you for doing so. Then that defeats the purpose of trying to help out.
All in due time, my friend. My particular disability doesn't exactly leave me free to do what I shalt, 24/7, so I too shall be busy with True Reality more often than I may have been lately. I will go AWOL on you from time to time, trust me.
Let the pieces fall as they may, and we'll just boogie on from there. |

Hi Bill, I've checked all the actions are up to date (you did download it recently!?, my memory is shocking).
So feel free to add you're own actions and boogie on (try not to go over the top on added very specific actions though, like circumvent or eradicate ). |

Heh, no I won't be using a thesaurus when I work on my quests. But there are some actions I want players to be able to perform not represented by the list I downloaded within the past week (so assume are up to date; there are 36 in the list I downloaded).
I just wanted to make sure the count didn't go up any due to what Investec brought to the table, so that we don't both put new Actions in slot 37, etc. |
